Our reponse:  Two things, (1) I wonder if "moving to Canada" is just aspirational, and (2) this seems to follow the pandemic-induced decline in popularity of large cities in general.

Spot on:  The economy won't get back to normal until the pandemic is over, so anything that delays that is bad for business.  People who feel unsafe don't spend money, whether personally or professionally.

Interesting: I wonder if this is part of the California's superiority complex, or if it is just a sign that most of the COVID-induced relocations will come after the pandemic is over.
