Alaska

Jenna Wright has been promoted to be President & CEO at the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation.

Arizona

Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority, was appointed as the new Co-Chair of the U.S. Investment Advisory Council Workforce Subcommittee. She replaced Brad Chambers, former Indiana Secretary of Commerce. As part of the IAC, she will advise the U.S. Secretary of Commerce on policies affecting foreign direct investment and help uphold the U.S. as a top destination for FDI.

The Town Council of Fountain Hills announced the unanimous approval of a three-year Community Economic Development Strategy. Economic Development Director, Amanda Jacobs, will oversee its execution, aiming to enhance business attraction, retention, expansion, and tourism.
