Arkansas
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced various appointments to state boards and councils. Among these are the appointments to the Arkansas Economic Development Council. R. Vance Lawson of Wynne and Chris Gosnell of Magnolia have been reappointed.

H. Stone James will be the new city manager of Twentynine Palms. Previously, James served as the director of economic development for Cathedral City.
The city of Davis has named Katie Yancey to the role of Economic Development Director.

The town of Niagara-on-the-Lake has appointed its first Economic Development Officer, Ashleigh Myers.
Florida
Nicole Travis, Tampa’s top official for economic development, is leaving her government job after more than two years to start her own consulting firm.
